The problem

When you need integrated programmes

Single-method bird control rarely sticks. Spikes alone fail when birds move two metres along the ledge. Hawking alone is brilliant for dispersal but leaves the door open for re-colonisation. Proofing alone closes the doors but ignores the existing population. An integrated programme combines all three — survey, dispersal, exclusion, and maintenance — in a planned sequence designed for your site's species, season, and budget. This is how we deliver the bird-free outcomes that win us 5-year repeat contracts with Irish hospitals, hotel groups, and food manufacturers.
How we deliver it

Our process

Phase 1 — Survey (Week 1): full site audit, species ID, risk mapping, written report and proposal. Phase 2 — Reset (Weeks 2–10): weekly hawking flights to disperse the resident bird population, paired with cleanup of guano hotspots. Phase 3 — Exclusion (Weeks 8–14, overlapping): targeted netting, post-and-wire and spike installation on the surfaces the survey identified. Phase 4 — Maintenance (ongoing): monthly or quarterly hawking visits and proofing inspections, logged on our portal. The programme can flex — add nest management in spring for gull sites, intensify in autumn for pigeon migrations.

FAQ

Common questions about integrated programmes

Hawking alone disperses the resident population brilliantly, but the moment you stop flying, new birds move in if the site is still suitable for roosting. An integrated programme uses hawking to clear the site and exclusion (netting, wire, spikes) to make sure new birds cannot replace the old ones. The combined approach is the only way to deliver a bird-free outcome that lasts.
